The camp strengthens a sense of belonging to the Francophone community by creating an environment where French is used daily in a dynamic and supportive setting. It aims to strengthen the Francophone community engagement of young LGBTQ+ people aged 14 to 19, whilst mobilising their families and a supporting adult around a structured programme that promotes linguistic security, a sense of belonging and civic participation in French. Inspired by the Familles engag\u00e9es programme and delivered primarily in person, the project will enable young people to design and carry out concrete community projects, supported by their families and partners such as FrancoQueer. AGORA Jeunesse \u2013 R\u00e9seau en action is the second phase of an artistic and community-based project led by Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Action, which began in September 2025 with the support of the R\u00e9seau Dialogue. Since then, a committee of young people aged 16 to 30 from across Ontario has been using theatre to reflect on what it means to live as part of the Francophone community today and on their vision for the future of Franco-Ontarian theatre. The culmination of this reflection is the creation of a manifesto. Phase 2 aims to amplify this collective voice at a major provincial festival bringing together over 400 secondary school students, through consultative workshops and a public presentation of the manifesto. It also includes a revival in a professional setting in the autumn and a tour of school visits to continue the dialogue. The project affirms young people as agents of change at the heart of a vibrant, diverse and engaged Franco-Ontarian theatre.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

By and for young people \u2013 Canadians for the Promotion of French will bring together 30 young people aged 18 to 30 from across Canada to form a national youth delegation that will take part in the 2027 Official Languages Summit. Running from summer 2026 to spring 2027, the project aims to strengthen linguistic security, civic engagement and intercultural dialogue among young people from majority and minority language communities. The initiative includes a virtual preparation phase, an in-person meeting and the young people\u2019s full participation in the Summit. In collaboration with the F\u00e9d\u00e9ration de la jeunesse canadienne fran\u00e7aise (FJCF), the project also supports an exchange component with the Pan-Canadian Youth Forum and outreach to a further 30 to 50 young people in British Columbia.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

This project, running from April 2026 to February 2027, will bring together and engage more than 300 French-speaking young people from Nova Scotia around the themes of creativity, leadership and community involvement. It includes a textile arts gathering from 24 to 26 April 2026 in Sydney with around 20 young people and an exhibition opening, a major provincial consultation bringing together around 50 young leaders, as well as complementary regional meetings involving more than 150 young people, and a gathering of around 100 young people in the performing arts for shows open to the community. The project will conclude with a delegation of around fifteen young people travelling to the Festival du Voyageur in Manitoba in February 2027. This summit, organised entirely by a youth committee, aims to break down geographical isolation and strengthen participants\u2019 linguistic confidence. The vision is to engage the next generation by offering them high-level strategic training and a space for collaborative development with national leaders. Together, they will develop action plans on key issues, such as educational renewal and the development of Scouting in minority communities. In a region characterised by great linguistic diversity and geographical isolation, young Francophones in the Northwest Territories have few structured opportunities to learn, create and flourish in French. Although they are numerous and dynamic, many leave the North due to a lack of local opportunities for personal, professional and community development. To address these challenges, the Coll\u00e8ge nordique francophone proposes the creation of a Talent Incubator, an innovative learning space combining workshops, mentoring, well-being, creativity and professional support. Aimed at young Francophones studying online who would like to engage in face-to-face exchanges with a local community, whether they are working or in transition, the programme promotes perseverance, linguistic confidence and the development of concrete projects. Each group leaves with a short film that they have conceived, filmed, acted in and edited. 60 workshops are planned across 10 cities. The camp aims to build outdoor skills, interpersonal skills and self-confidence. Thanks to the national component, members of our board of directors will also be able to benefit from training offered by the FJCF as part of the pan-Canadian congress L\u00e0 pour \u00c7A. Crescendo enables young people to perform in front of an audience following a process of auditions, mentoring and training. The LIFC engages around 65 young people through local training sessions and a provincial tournament as part of the Festival du Bois. In total, nearly 300 to 350 young people aged 14 to 18 will be supported in the development and presentation of an original theatrical production in French. At the same time, a youth advisory committee will be established. It will bring together young people aged 16 to 30 from various regions. This committee\u2019s mandate will be to reflect on issues affecting Francophone youth, propose courses of action and participate in the evaluation of Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Action\u2019s youth projects. EcoNova Educations\u2019 workshops help tomorrow\u2019s citizens and professionals to understand the importance of the environment. For pupils in Years 9 to 12, we offer year-round thematic programmes in French on ecosystems and rethinking consumption. Each programme comprises a series of progressive workshops (2 to 3) and a teacher\u2019s pack with selected resources. Participating students also attend a screening of a French film on the theme and launch school projects. Through the VIF Programme, we plan to deliver these programmes in person to 20 classes in French and French immersion schools across British Columbia during the 2025\u20132026 school year (September 2025 to February 2026). In total, more than 1,500 pupils (aged 14\u201318) could take part. The first, small-scale event invites young people to come together and take part in a creative activity whilst practising their French. The second, large-scale event, the Human Library, invites young people to listen to the life stories of other young people in their community and to engage in a language exchange. The Connect project aims to bring young people together to boost their confidence in speaking and strengthen their sense of belonging to their community. Reaching 50 young people (aged 14 to 30) per region, the events will facilitate exchanges between English-speaking and French-speaking young people. Through theatre outings, dramaturgy workshops and open discussions, they will discover Ottawa\u2019s French-language theatre scene and reflect on the issues addressed on stage that are relevant to teenagers. Their reflections will inform the collective creation of a post-performance civic engagement initiative, designed to engage other young people\u2014whether Francophone or Francophile\u2014as well as the general public. Francofi\u00e8vre is the largest Francophone youth cultural gathering in Saskatchewan, held annually, alternating between Saskatoon and Regina. In February 2026, thanks to this additional funding, the event will take the form of two consecutive days of in-person activities. Through this project, the addition of a second day will enable the event to welcome a total of over 3,000 young people from 50 to 60 Fransaskois and French immersion schools. At the heart of this initiative are the young people who experience their Francophone identity by taking part in educational, cultural and artistic activities in French. These activities are designed to strengthen young people\u2019s linguistic confidence, their sense of belonging and their motivation to live fully in French.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
