Following a series of consultations across Canada, the FCFA of Canada publishes the Parlons-nous report and proposes the creation of a permanent foundation whose main purpose would be to promote dialogue between Francophone and Acadian communities and all components of Canadian society.
The Canadian Foundation for Cultural Dialogue, known as the Dialogue Foundation, was officially established in 2004 and is led by its Executive Director, Guy Matte.

The Dialogue Foundation becomes the organiser of the RVF
Les Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (RVF), created in 1998, are now overseen by the Dialogue Foundation.
The Dialogue Foundation and the FFCBare collaborating on several initiatives to ensure a Francophone presence during the Olympic Games, including Place de la Francophonie 2010 on Granville Island, the Franco Médias 2010 youth journalism project, and the Francophonie Flame educational programme.

The Dialogue Foundation is providing a national showcase for celebrations surrounding the 150th anniversary of the 1864 Charlottetown Conference, in collaboration with PEI 2014 Inc.
The Dialogue Foundation facilitates the organisation and implementation of bilingual initiatives and ensures the visibility of French-speaking artists at cultural events.

The place of the French-speaking world at the Pan American Games and Parapan American
Launched as part of Canada 2017 celebrations, this project showcases Baldwin and La Fontaine's work within the Canadian government through a series of documentaries.
The Canada-wide tour Bonjour My Friend takes place over a period of approximately 50 days, crossing the country from Victoria, British Columbia, to St. John's, Newfoundland. During the journey, a major symposium marking the 50th anniversary of the Official Languages Act is held during a stop in Ottawa.

Tout pour la musique is a live-filmed show broadcast across the country to celebrate St. Jean Baptiste Day on 24 June and promote artists from Canada's French-speaking communities.
In partnership with Canadian Parents For Frenchand French For the Future, The Dialogue Foundation is establishing the Linguistic Duality Network with the aim of representing a strong, united voice that emphasises the importance for the linguistic majority to learn about and appreciate the cultures of linguistic minorities in Canada.
