What is Tout pour la musique?

A celebration of Saint Jean-Baptiste Day

Tout pour la musique (TPLM) is a celebration of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day in Canada’s Francophone community. Produced by Productions Rivard and broadcast by Unis TV, this filmed show invites all Canadians to unite and show their pride and solidarity with the Francophonie.

REGINA, SK: The taping of the show will be on June 22nd at 7:30 at The Exchange! The public is invited to participate in a networking cocktail party from 5:00 pm onwards, organized by the Conseil culturel fransaskois, followed by an exclusive screening of the Tout Pour la Musique show!   Tickets: Get it here !   • Alberta Visual Arts Center

    The AVAC invites you to the exhibition “Painting Alberta” by Sabine Lecorre-Moore in the Exploration Space, taking place until July 20th.

    Three other artists will also featured in the Members Space: Karen Blanchet, Danièle Petit, Zoong Nguyen. On June 24th, join us for our activity for Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day and also see the project “Unprecedented at AVAC”: Summer Showcase by artist Nozomi Kamei, as well as an on-site collage demonstration by a member artist.

    Participate in the ceremony on Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, which will include a wine, cheese, and snack buffet! Festive atmosphere and a preview of the upcoming show “Tout pour la musique” on June 24th, starting at 7pm!

  • ACFA régionale de Grande Prairie

    ACFA is organizing a weekend-long “Campout” style celebration for our community. Participants can join us with their families for the entire weekend or for Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day. A variety of activities will bring us together throughout the day starting at 2pm: inflatable games, petanque tournament, water gun fight, BBQ, children’s activities, performances, and bonfire.

    Join the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day activities starting at 10am! ACFA is also planning a panel discussion with members of the community sharing the history of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day and their experiences with the audience.

    On June 24th, starting at 4pm, come and enjoy free concerts and a large-screen broadcast of the show “Tout pour la musique 2023.”

  • Association francophone de Kamloops

    Come celebrate Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day with the Francophone and Francophile community of Kamloops!

    On Friday, June 23rd, Veranda will be stopping in Kamloops during their first tour in British Columbia. The show will start at 7pm.

    On Saturday, June 24th, AFK invites you to a barbecue starting at 6pm. The celebration will begin with an opening speech and acknowledgments, a ceremony and presentation of merit certificates to the graduates of Collines d’or Francophone School, music, inflatable castle, and various activities. The festivities will continue with a community barbecue, Saint-Jean cake, and the screening of the show “Tout pour la musique.”

  • Conseil jeunesse francophone de la Colombie-Britannique

    (Sechelt, British Columbia)

    Reserved for SAGA participants. A cozy environment with cushions, blankets, and fairy lights awaits you for the show screening. Snacks and drinks will be provided to the participants. It will be a perfect place to discover together Franco-Canadian artists as well as your personal connections as young French speakers with the Francophonie on a larger scale, particularly on the national scene.

  • Canadian Parents for French – Stonewall

    (Heritage Arts Gallery Stonewall, Manitoba)

    Approximately 150 students from three French immersion schools will participate in a screening of the show “Tout pour la musique,” which will feature other musical groups from the Franco-Manitoban community.

  • Société Culturelle de la Baie des Chaleurs

    (Artisans’ Alley, Shannon Street, Campbellton, New Brunswick)

    The Society is organizing a back alley party on Shannon Street in Campbellton to promote access to culture by presenting free music performances, along with a few booths on-site to bring the community together and demonstrate our pride and solidarity towards the Francophonie.

  • Auberge Francophone d’Accueil et des Services aux Immigrants

    (Salle de l’École Saint Noel Chabanel , 30 Boulevard Thistle Down  Etobicoke Ontario M9V 1H8)

    Attend an organized sharing and exchanges session with the ethnocultural and francophone community, during which there will be a workshop on the origin of Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day and entertainment! Join us!

  • Centre franco-ontarien de folklore

    (Collège Boréal, Salle Trisac, 21 Lasalle Blvd, Greater Sudbury, ON P3A 6B1)

    On June 24th, a free of charge Family Day is open to the entire community. Activities include face painting for children, skill games for young people, presentation booths, small music shows, and the screening of “Tout pour la musique”.

    Join in the Saint-Jean-Baptiste festivities in Red Lake with your family! French challenge scavenger hunt, virtual show “Tout pour la musique,” musical campfire, food, and games await you! $1,000 in prizes to be won!

    You are invited to the Grand Lac Squatec Rest Area for an outdoor screening of the show “Tout pour la musique.”

Call to communities

Are you a non-profit organization based in Canada? Be one of 23 communities to receive $500 to host the 2023 Tout pour la musique show projection!

Tout Pour La Musique is a show featuring a dozen francophone artists from across Canada. The event showcases emerging artists as well as well-known personalities from cultural diversity and Aboriginal peoples. 

Objective

To allow various communities to be part of the Saint Jean Baptiste celebrations, while also uniting Canadians to show their pride and solidarity with the Francophonie. 

Value: $500 

Eligibility Criteria

  • Be a non-profit or charitable organization that offers activities in French or bilingual 
  • Have a head office in Canada   
  • Be able to hold the screening on Saturday, June 24, 2023   
  • Promote the Canadian Francophonie  
  • Complete the microgrant application form  

Selection Criteria

  • Geographic Representation   
  • Size and diversity of target audience  
  • Creativity of the approach 

The microgrant application form must be submitted no later than April 24, 2023 at 11:59 PM (Eastern Time)

Obligations for the subsidized organizations

  • Ensure the visibility of the All for Music show   
  • Submit a short report including the number of participants, the impact of the activity and at least one photo 

The Dialogue Foundation will contact selected organizations in early May 2023.
