2001
Publication of the FCFA Canada’s “Parlons-nous“ Report
Following a cross-Canada consultation tour, the FCFA Canada publishes the “Parlons-nous” Report and suggests the creation of a permanent foundation whose main goal would be to promote dialogue between Francophone and Acadian communities and all components of Canadian society.
The Canadian Foundation for Cross-Cultural Dialogue, known as the Dialogue Foundation, is officially established in 2004 and led by its Executive Director Guy Matte.

The Dialogue Foundation becomes the organizer of the RVF
The Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (RVF), created in 1998, is now managed by the Dialogue Foundation.
The Dialogue Foundation and the FFCB collaborate on several initiatives to ensure a Francophone presence during the Olympic Games, including the Place de la Francophonie 2010 on Granville Island, the Franco Media 2010 Young Journalists Project and the Francophonie Flame Education Program.

Charlottetown Conference 150th Anniversary Celebrations
The Dialogue Foundation provides a national showcase for the celebrations surrounding the 150th anniversary of the Charlottetown Conference of 1864, in collaboration with PEI 2014 Inc.
The Dialogue Foundation facilitates the organization and implementation of bilingual initiatives and ensures the visibility of Francophone artists at cultural events.

The francophone voice during the Pan American and Parapan American Games
2017
Launch of Baldwin & La Fontaine: Towards Responsible Government resources
Launched as part of the Canada 2017 celebrations, this project provides an opportunity to explore, through a documentary form, Baldwin and La Fontaine’s work in Canadian government.
The Bonjour my friend cross-Canada tour takes place over a period of 50 days, crossing the country from Victoria, British Columbia to St. John’s, Newfoundland. During the tour, a huge Symposium on the 50th anniversary of the Official Languages Act is organized during the stop in Ottawa.
2019
Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the adoption of Canada’s Official Languages Act
Tout pour la musique is a live show filmed and broadcast across the country to celebrate St-Jean Baptiste Day on June 24, and to promote artists from the Canadian Francophonie.
The Dialogue Foundation becomes coordinator of the Tout pour la Musique project
2022
Creation of the Linguistic Duality Network
In partnership with Canadian Parents for French and French for the Future, the Dialogue Foundation establishes the Linguistic Duality Network to provide a strong and united voice that highlights the importance for the majority language community to learning and appreciating the cultures of Canada’s linguistic minorities.
Following the departure of founding Executive Director Guy Matte, Ajà Besler is appointed Executive Director.
