A brief history

The creation of the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie dates back to 1998. Distinguished people such as the Right Honourable Antonio Lamer, Antonine Maillet and the Honourable Paul Gérin-Lajoie were at the origin of the Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (RVF).      In 2005, the Dialogue Foundation took over the organization of the annual event, which takes place throughout March.
