The Programme de valorisation d’initiatives francophones (VIF), supported by the Government of Canada’s Action Plan for Official Languages 2023-2028 through Canadian Heritage, aims to offer youth aged 14 to 30 unique opportunities to gather, exchange, encourage and engage in French.
- Bringing TOGETHER young people through activities in French to strengthen their linguistic security and sense of belonging.
- Creating EXCHANGES with youth from different linguistic communities to foster cooperation and appreciation of Canada’s official languages.
- Increased SUPPORT for the learning and use of French in daily life, especially for youth whose first language is not French.
- Encouraging youth participation in civic and social ENGAGEMENT in French.
